ALL IN THE FAMILY
Richard Lovick is manager of our garage in Warminster, having taken over the business from his father, Paul, who established it 40 years ago as a home-based car repair operation.
Paul – well-known and respected among Warminster residents – still likes to keep “hands on” in the modern, well-equipped workshop at the Woodcock Trading Estate in the town centre, alongside Richard and the other mechanics.
Since taking over the reins from his father Richard has invested time and effort to set up the business with the very latest state of the art technology and equipment, so we are on a par with any modern garage. We not only have great mechanics with a passion for their trade, but also the tools to deliver a top service, whether it’s an MOT, repair or service for any make or model of car, light van or motorcycle.
Besides Richard and Paul, we currently employ three qualified mechanics in our workshop, with two receptionists who make sure everything runs to schedule.
WHAT WE DO
Here at P & L Motors we offer a wide range of services, covering just about everything you would expect a local garage to do – and more. All work, including MOT testing, is carried out on site in our workshop, with no outsourcing.
We’re equipped and capable of carrying out high tech diagnostic tests to identify issues in the engine, transmission, brakes and other electronic or mechanical systems in late model vehicles for early problem detection.
We also go the extra mile when it comes to supplying and fitting tyres, and other maintenance tasks like air-conditioner re-gassing to make motoring comfortable on hot summer days.
We’re one of very few auto centres in the Warminster area that specialises in MOTs, repairs and maintenance for motorcycles, from simple scooters through to high performance superbikes. In fact, there’s not much we don’t know about motoring on two wheels, and we’re always happy to get involved in some biker chat.
