At P & L Motors in Warminster, Wiltshire, we’re fully approved to carry out annual Class 1, 2 and 4 MOT tests on-site for cars, light vans and motorcycles which are more than three years old.

We have a fully equipped MOT testing bay at our workshop on the Woodcock Trading Estate in Warminster which operates from 8am to 5pm on weekdays. MOTs can be carried out up to 28 days in advance of the expiry date on your current MOT certificate.
WHAT’S CHECKED IN AN MOT?
An MOT test takes around an hour, and covers a wide range of checks to ensure the vehicle complies with the strict roadworthy criteria laid down by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency).
To help ensure your vehicle passes the test you can ask us to do a pre-MOT check, or make sure yourself that small issues like faulty bulbs or even a dirty number plate are rectified before the test. Even a windscreen chip might cause your vehicle to fail.

REPAIRS & RE-TESTS
If your vehicle fails its MOT there’s no need to panic. We offer a complete MOT repair and retest service, so we’ll quickly be able to fix any faults be they major or minor, from worn brakes and failed suspension components to burned out bulbs.
We’ll let you know all the details, and discuss your options along with the cost of any repairs. Once the repairs are completed we’ll retest your vehicle and you’ll pass with flying colours, so you can get back on the road with confidence.
